March of Dimes Canada Announces Launch of Annual Client Survey

March of Dimes Canada (MODC) is launching a brand new, fully anonymous, annual Client Survey on September 19. We want to hear from you and your caregivers to learn about how our services are impacting your life. Survey results will be shared with our MODC Executive Leadership Team and Board, to shape future programming.

The survey is available in an accessible, aphasia-friendly format in both French and English and should take 5 to 10 minutes to complete. The survey will close on October 10, 2022.

MODC Client Survey – Frequently Asked Questions


The MODC Client Survey is an exciting new opportunity for clients to share their voices with us launching 2022. The MODC Client Survey provides clients the opportunity to share how MODC services are impacting their quality of life and opportunities. March of Dimes Canada provides a wide range of services to people living with disabilities across the country and client voices guide building, supporting, and improving our services. The results of the survey will be shared with the MODC Executive Team and Board and will help inform future programming for MODC clients. The survey is available in paper or online format, will take approximately 5–10 minutes to complete, and the results will be shared back with clients. Clients have the option to enter a draw for one of five $100 Visa gift cards!

What is the MODC Client Survey?

The MODC Client Survey is designed to allow MODC to track areas aligned with MODC’s core vision and mission of providing, advocating, and empowering an inclusive, barrier-free society for people with disabilities in communities nationwide.

Why are we asking these questions?

The questions focus on different areas of your life and will help us get a better understanding of how we can better support you through programming and services. It will also help us understand your perspective on MODC as a service providing organization.

When will the survey take place?

The survey will open on September 19, 2022, and close October 10, 2022.

What are we going to do with the information?

The results of the MODC client satisfaction survey will allow MODC to measure effectiveness of programming and deliver better care to clients.

Are your survey responses anonymous?

Yes. Any personal identifiers such as names are not required to complete the survey.

Will I need to enter my personal information for the draw?

Personal identifiers such as names and email addresses will only be asked if you wish to be entered into the draw. Personal information for the draw is collected separately from your survey responses and cannot be associated with your survey responses. If you do not wish to be entered, you do not need to provide your personal information.

How will privacy be protected?

Any personal identifiers such as names will be protected and not linked back to your responses. If you have questions regarding the privacy of the MODC Client Survey, please contact the research team at research@marchofdimes.ca or the privacy officer at privacy@marchofdimes.ca.

Do I have to answer all the questions?

The survey is voluntary, and it is your choice to choose which questions you would like to answer. Each question has a “Prefer not to answer” option which you can select if you do not want to answer a particular question.

How long will the survey take?

The survey will take approximately 5–10 minutes to complete.

What do I do if I did not receive a survey and would like to participate?

If you are a March of Dimes Canada client and did not receive a Client Survey, please contact research@marchofdimes.ca. A survey link will be sent to you via email.
