A new, play-based program for kids with disabilities
March of Dimes Canada’s newest kids program is here! We’re so excited to be welcoming kids with all disabilities to our Move Learn Grow program for kids aged 1 to 12, piloting in Toronto in summer, 2024. There is no fee for participating in this program.
Move Learn Grow is a play-based program that takes a holistic approach to learning and movement, integrating adaptive physical activities with skill development and social interaction. The program is designed to enhance the development of children with disabilities, enabling them to learn, grow and develop in a fun and enriching way.
Summer Pilot Program
The Move Learn Grow pilot program will begin on
July 8, 2024 and run for 7 weeks, to
August 23, 2024. We’re asking 60 families to participate in our Move Learn Grow pilot program, 20 families in each of three age groups:
Parent and Tot (age 1-4) on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:00 – 11:30 am
School Age – Junior (age 5-8) on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:00 – 2:30 pm
School Age – Senior (age 9-12) on Mondays and Wednesdays at 3:30 – 5:00 pm
