Nominations are now open for the second annual March of Dimes Canada Changemaker Awards, an esteemed recognition program celebrating the remarkable individuals and organizations who have made an extraordinary impact in the lives of people with disabilities. 

Last year’s inaugural Changemaker Awards celebrated five worthy recipients who helped create a more inclusive and accessible society through their innovation, collaboration, action, and advocacy. Inspired by their example, people across Canada are invited to once again nominate deserving Changemakers across five categories of achievement, including: 

“We are excited to hear from the community about the incredible individuals and organizations who are leading the way in transforming the lives of people with disabilities," said Leonard Baker, President and CEO, March of Dimes Canada. "Their dedication and tireless efforts inspire March of Dimes Canada in our continued quest to champion equity and empower ability across this country." 

Any person or organization can submit a nomination online at www.marchofdimes.ca/awards until Friday, September 1, 2023 at 4 p.m. EDT. 

Winners will be announced in October, and celebrated at the Changemakers Supper Club fundraising gala taking place on November 1, 2023 in Toronto. This wonderful evening will bring together influential individuals, industry leaders, advocates, and community members to celebrate Changemakers and inspire future collaboration for a more inclusive society.
