It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge the passing of our valued Board member and colleague, Elizabeth Greville.
“Elizabeth was passionate about giving back to her community,” says Len Baker, President and CEO of March of Dimes Canada. “And it showed in her commitment to charitable work, and MODC in particular. Our deepest sympathy goes out to her family and everyone who loved Elizabeth — she’ll be sorely missed.”
Elizabeth lent her time and talent to our Board for 19 years, serving in a variety of capacities including Board Chair and Chair of our Compensation and Human Resources Committee. She was also a member of our Finance, Risk and Audit, Governance, Nominations, CEO Compensation, and Pension Committees.
“Elizabeth was a wise counsellor and mentor to me and many others who have served on the MODC Board over the years,” adds Board Chair Jay Hira. “Her contributions were always insightful, balanced, and on point. We are profoundly grateful for her dedication toward our mission.”
In addition to her work with MODC, Elizabeth also served on the Board of the Arts and Letters Club of Toronto and volunteered with Second Harvest.
Elizabeth will be missed by everyone at MODC. It has been our great privilege to work with her and witness her wholehearted contributions to our shared mission and work.
