March of Dimes Canada is in full compliance with current standards of the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR) Policy, Regulation 191/11, under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and Accessibility for Manitobans Act. In doing so, we affirm our commitment to providing quality services in a manner that respects the dignity and independence of persons with disabilities.
The multi-year initiatives set out in this plan continue the foundational work of previous plans and incorporate ongoing actions to advance accessibility. The current plan covers a five-year period 2024-2029.
The initiatives fall under five key areas:

- Barrier-free facilities

and guided by Chief Accessibility and Chief People Officers, MODC will continue to provide inclusive programs, services, employment and volunteer opportunities that respects dignity, advances independence and fosters barrier-free participation of persons with disabilities.
March of Dimes Canada will continue to develop, implement and maintain policies that govern how the organization achieves or will achieve accessibility though meeting this Regulation. To facilitate this commitment, March of Dimes Canada has established, maintained and documented a multi-year accessibility plan, that is reviewed and updated at least once every five years to identify progress made in addressing barriers and will be posted on the March of Dimes Canada website and Staff Intranet.
