Davi was born premature and developed an infection resulting in cerebral palsy. When his parents brought him home they noticed he was not reaching his milestones; he did not reach out for toys, roll over or even move his legs separately. It was devastating and his parents knew it would be a long, difficult road. They desperately needed to find different ways to help Davi become functional and deal with the challenges to come.
Last October Davi started in the March of Dimes CE Early Intervention program. Since then he has learned to sit independently, start walking with a walker, use his hands more effectively and even speak 5 to 6 word sentences! Davi’s mom Reena says: "…CE has provided a safe and nurturing environment for my child to grow, mature and develop into the best person he can be."
