MODC TestimonialMy life took a drastic turn in the wee hours one cold February morning 2006. I suffered a terrible fall at home and landed in a wheelchair as a quadraplegic.  Needless to say I was devastated. After months in the hospital and Rehab, I was transferred to 25 Glenn Hawthorne Blvd in Mississauga, which has become my home for  the past six years.

I must confess  that I was not looking forward to assisted community living. I was literally scared. All this changed in a matter of weeks as soon as I met the staff. Everyone assured me that I was not alone and that they were here for me. That proved to be true. After been independent all my life it was not easy for me to have to rely on someone to do even the simpliest of things for me. The level of care I received at 25 Glenn Hawthorne exceed both my expectations and those of the hospitals. Each time I was admitted to hospital I could not wait to be discharged home to friendly faces and excellent treatment.

The staff at 25 Glen Hawthorne has been professional, kind and caring. I will always be gateful to them, and I think I have developed a lifetime friendship with these wonderful people .

Heartfelt Thanks as I embark on my new journey.
