What is TELUS Tech for Good™?

Tech for Good provides people of all ages with professional assistance so you can independently use or control your mobile phone, tablet, laptop and computer. Tech for Good offers customized recommendations, training and support on technology devices and related assistive technology in order to help you overcome barriers to digital accessibility. 

Services are offered in English and French.

Program details

  • Access to experts with specialized knowledge about accessibility challenges and assistive technologies for mobile phones, tablets, laptops and computers
  • Personalized, virtual, one-on-one assessment, recommendations and training on mobile phones, tablets, laptops and computers, and related assistive technologies


Who is eligible for TELUS Tech for Good™?

  • You live in Canada.
  • You own a mobile phone, tablet, laptop or computer and have a disability.
  • You require training and support on how to use your device’s accessibility features.
  • You are looking for recommendations on assistive technology, including apps, software and hardware for your mobile phone, tablet, laptop or computer.

Emrick’s Story

For example, Tech for Good gave a voice to Emrick, an eight-year-old boy in the Quebec City area who is non-verbal.
