Bob Rumball Foundation for the Deaf - a variety of care and support centres and resources for children and adults who are deaf.

Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - a national charity with 52 volunteer chapters, the foundation funds cystic fibrosis research and care.

Canadian Diabetes Association - with more than 150 branches across the country the association is the largest non-governmental supporter of diabetes research, education and advocacy.

Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) - focuses on combating mental health problems and emotional disorders with research and information services, sponsored research projects, workshops, seminars, newsletters and resource centres. 

Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) - a national voluntary agency that works to improve the condition of the blind of Canada, prevent blindness and promote sight enhancement services.

Chronic Pain Association of Canada - a non-profit consumer association dedicated to assisting people with chronic pain and their communities through education, fundraising and networking with other groups of similar purpose.

Division of Aging and Seniors - the newsletter of the National Advisory Council on Aging, that deals with issues of seniors and disabilities.

Epilepsy Ontario - works through a network of chapters, contacts and associates to provide counselling, information and referral services, and education and advocacy for children and adults living with seizure disorders.

Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada - aside from funding MS research, the society provides services for people who have MS, family members, caregivers and health care professionals.

Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada - funds research that searches for causes, treatments, and cures of muscular dystrophy, and provides relevant and current information about many types of neuromuscular disorders.

Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy - addresses the changing needs of Ontarians with cerebral palsy by assisting member groups in the development and provision of services and programs, advocating and promoting awareness, and encouraging and supporting research.

Rick Hansen Man In Motion Foundation - works to improve the lives of people with spinal cord injuries through research, awareness and rehabilitation.

Thalidomide Victims Association of Canada - a non-profit charitable organization that was formed to provide peer support, information exchange, non-monetary programs and services, and advocacy for Canadian Thalidomiders.
