Stroke and Aphasia Conferences

A number of Aphasia and Stroke Conferences are held across Canada each year. They provide an opportunity for researchers, health care specialists, service providers, stroke survivors, people affected by aphasia, including family members, friends and caregivers, to come together and learn about the latest advances and services available to Canadians. The goal of these conferences is to maximize the independence, personal empowerment and community participation of those affected by aphasia and stroke.

Learn more about conferences held across Canada listed in the side menu. You are also encouraged to visit MODC's After Stroke website at www.afterstroke.ca, where additional events and conferences of interest may be listed.
