Receive one-on-one care in your home, school or workplace
Nationally, March of Dimes Canada has been providing compassionate, professional attendant care services for over 40 years and our experienced, caring staff have helped us grow into one of the largest attendant service providers in Canada. We provide services in over 42 assisted/supportive living settings across Canada, in addition to private homes and institutions.
Attendant Care Services provide non-medical assistance with activities of daily living in the home, such as dressing, bathing, eating, and helping with range of motion.
What we do
Attendants will provide physical assistance with activities of daily living such as personal grooming, transferring, dressing, bathing, meals, ventilator, tracheotomy services, and more.
For existing clients, emerging care needs are considered during the care planning process.
Where funding and resources are available and in conjunction with personal care, we may help with daily activities such as homemaking services.
Client Bill of Rights
The Bill of Rights consists of a set of fundamental principles governing the treatment of individuals receiving services in the Home and Community Care services sector. Adapted from Ontario’s Ministry of Health legislation known as the Connecting Care Act, it serves as a guideline for ethical conduct.
