Or maybe you’re thinking about how your skills match up to opportunities in employment or volunteering? Whether in-person or online, Paving the Path to Work is the right program for you!

​Paving the Path to Work is a six-week program centered on showing people with disabilities the world of work, helping you consider options you may not have thought about before – and make new friends along the way.

Paving the Path to Work is available for people with disabilities who live in Hamilton, London, Niagara Region, Peel Region, and Toronto. Thanks to generous support from United Way, there is no fee to participate!

Here’s what you can expect as a Paving the Path to Work participant: 
  • A busy program three days each week for six weeks, either in-person or online. 
  • Setting your individual goals and support to reach them. 
  • Assessments of your skills and visits to work sites to help you see how work works! 
  • Confidence-building workshops, including practicing tasks you might do at work.  
  • Safety and assertiveness training and working on good workplace habits.  
  • Setting goals for taking the next steps in your journey!

Paving the Path to Work is now open for registration! When you visit the registration form page, you’ll see session information, including program days and times, depending on which region you live in.
