After Stroke - Ask an Expert

Discover a wealth of information, inspiration, and resources for stroke recovery through our online Ask An Expert sessions. Our experts offer timely and relevant topics tailored to stroke survivors and caregivers. Join us in these interactive sessions, where you can bring your curiosity and questions to deepen your knowledge and understanding of stroke recovery.​ 

For: stroke survivors, caregivers, healthcare professionals, members of community-based organizations – all are welcome.

Caregiver Support E-Learning Sessions


Are you a caregiver who is looking to enhance your caregiving skills and find ways to manage stress? Our e-learning sessions offer flexible and accessible ways to learn at your own pace and at a time that works for you. Through these sessions, you'll gain valuable tools and insights to meet the unique needs of your loved one and yourself.  

There are seven short videos and four modules.  Each module takes about 30 minutes. Once you register, you’ll receive an email with the modules and links. 

Some of the takeaways you can expect include: 
  • Learning new coping strategies and problem-solving skills to help you manage stress on a day-to-day basis 
  • Improving your communication skills and building stronger relationships with your loved one and healthcare professionals
  • Gaining a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with caregiving, and how to take care of your own well-being in the process.
