Funded Services
Specialized case managers and rehabilitation professionals work with family members, friends, other service providers and clients directly to improve: daily living skills, communication, community orientation and integration, emotional and behavioural support, life skills training, vocational support, recreation opportunities and more.
The Funded Care program in Ontario is funded by
Ontario Health and is ISO 9001:2008 registered. The program's disability management advisors will review all the benefits and components of the disability management program for individuals with a brain injury with you.
Who is Eligible?
To meet requirements for government funded service you must:
- Have a brain injury
- Be 16 years of age or older
- Require the support of March of Dimes Canada as a result of the brain injury
- Have a valid health card
- Not be in receipt of insurance funds

If you are not eligible for government funded service, fee-for-service care is available.

Care
March of Dimes Canada services are accessible, facilitate high quality care and are staffed by trained rehabilitation and attendant care workers. Disability management best practices are utilized throughout the program and we also strive to connect you with peer groups to build a community of support.
Flexibility
We offer rehabilitation and attendant care services, peer support groups, as well as both supportive and group housing options. Our services are offered in hospitals, schools, workplaces and other community locations. Additionally, as an Ontario Health funded organization, March of Dimes Canada can help you transition from insurance to Ontario Health funded service if ever required.
