The June 2nd general election is our chance to be heard by candidates and leaders.

Let’s tell all parties, leaders and candidates they need to commit to building an Ontario where people with disabilities do not just scrape by to survive, but instead thrive.

Together, we can ask them to commit to financial security, independence and connection for Ontarians with disabilities of all ages.

Take Action Today: Write to Your Candidates!

Choose one or more of the priority issues below and use our handy tool to directly email the candidates in your riding.

Financial security
Ask your candidates to say no to social assistance claw backs, to work with the federal government on the Canada Disability Benefit, and to increase ODSP rates and the earned income threshold.

Independence at home and in the community
Ask your candidates to provide the support people need to stay in their homes with dignity and independence, by increasing funding for home and community care services.

Active, healthy and connected lives for stroke survivors
Ask your candidates to invest in community-based post-stroke services, supporting stroke survivors and their families to navigate the path forward after a stroke
