For far too long, recovering from a stroke in Ontario has been isolating and confusing. Access to community-based services is inconsistent and piecemeal. Despite advances, there is no ongoing funding. Survivors and their families have inconsistent access to services that help them navigate the system.
It doesn’t have to be this way.

- A province-wide plan that focuses on recovery, including and beyond rehabilitation
- Expanded community-based programs like March of Dimes Canada’s After Stroke program
- More investments and resources to enable stroke survivors and their families to live more active, healthy, and connected lives after a stroke
